Privacy Policy

How Yachtsy collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit our site or book a cruise — in plain language.

Last updated · February 9, 2026

Yachtsy (“Yachtsy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit bookyachtsy.com or book a cruise with us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using our site and services, you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you give us directly, and information that’s gathered automatically as you browse:

  • Information you provide. Your name, email address, mobile number, and billing details — for example when you fill out our contact form, request a booking, or message us. Bookings are taken through our reservation provider, FareHarbor, which collects the details needed to confirm your cruise.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our servers log technical data such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you view, and the dates and times of your visits.
  • Payment information. Card payments are processed by our booking and payment provider. Yachtsy stores little or no financial data itself — your full card details are held by the payment processor, not by us.

How We Use Your Information

Having accurate information lets us give you a smooth, personal experience. We use what we collect to:

  • Take and manage your bookings and process payments.
  • Send booking confirmations, reminders, and updates (transactional messages).
  • Respond to your questions and customer-service requests.
  • Send promotional or marketing messages — only if you have opted in.
  • Understand how the site is used so we can keep improving it.

Cookies & Analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies (pixels and tags) to keep the site working smoothly and to understand how visitors use it. We use Google Analytics to measure traffic and Meta (Facebook & Instagram) tools to measure and improve our advertising. These providers may set their own cookies.

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can remove or block them in your browser settings. Turning cookies off may affect how parts of the site work.

Your choice: you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad preferences through your Google and Meta account settings.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these limited situations:

  • Service providers. Trusted companies that help us run Yachtsy — including FareHarbor (booking & payment), Google and Meta (analytics & advertising), our email provider for confirmations and replies, and our website hosting. They may use your information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal reasons. If required by law, or to investigate possible violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of our guests, our team, or the public.
We never sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Text Messages (SMS)

When you give us your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Yachtsy. This includes transactional messages about your booking (confirmations, reminders, and updates) and — only if you separately opt in — promotional messages about offers and events.

You can stop marketing texts at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies.

Mobile privacy: your mobile information and text-messaging consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing — a standard we hold for A2P 10DLC compliance.

Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as we need it — to manage your bookings, meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and resolve any disputes. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it.

Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to help protect your personal information. No method of transmission or storage is ever perfectly secure, so while we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we can’t guarantee it against every possible interception or misuse.

Your Rights & Choices

You can access or correct your personal information at any time — just contact us using the details below. You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, stop marketing texts by replying STOP, and manage cookies through your browser settings.
